The Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance are excited to be offering a unique combination dance class workshop this half term.
The two dance styles covered in the workshop will be Contemporary and Lyrical Dance, and Street / Hip-Hop. The workshops are open to all RSB and external pupils in the area.
WHY ARE THESE WORKSHOPS SPECIAL?
Firstly, the teachers leading the workshops are specialists in their field, and both are part of the regular teaching team at our school.
STREET / HIP-HOP
Our new teacher Freya Sands, is the most current street performer and teacher in the area by far. Her professional credits include touring with the ever-popular all-male dance group DIVERSITY three times, and she is a regular member of the all-girl street group, BOADICEA. Freya will be passing on her vast commercial experience (and she still regularly performs now) to all the children. So try something new and join our workshop for two hours. No previous dance training required.

CONTEMPORARY / LYRICAL
Our contemporary teacher will be Emma Benjamin, who has taught Ballet and Contemporary for several years with our school. Emma is a great contemporary teacher and extremely qualified in her field. This style of dance is extremely popular as children can express themselves more freely by improvising some moves in accordance with the style of music and words. And as contemporary and lyrical dance can be accompanied by most styles of music, this proves very popular with pupils' tastes.

This workshop is divided into 2 age-specific groups, and based in the centre of Reigate.
WHEN: May 31st
WHERE: St Bedes School Dance Studios (next to their gym), 64 Carlton Rd, Redhill RH1 2LQ
TIME: 10.30am - 12.30 (2 hours)
AGES: 7+
Price = £15 each**
DISCOUNT - (£12 if a current RSB pupil brings a friend who is not currently dancing with our dance schools)
