NEW Street and Hip Hop Dance classes in Reigate and Redhill - touring with DIVERISTY !

DANCE LIKE DIVERSITY! Well, we now have a teacher who has (and is) touring with Diversity. The Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance is thrilled to welcome a professional Street and Hip-Hop dance teacher as part of their teaching staff in Reigate and Redhill.

Freya Sands will be joining our dance school from the Summer term. Freya is a member of the female Street and Hip-Hop dance group 'Boadicea' who perform professionally around the UK.

RSB and RSB Dance strive to get hold of all-round teachers for all our dance styles, but this style is so unique and ever-changing and a specialist teacher would be highly beneficial for the school.

Freya, originally from Epsom, has been extremely busy over the past few years working with Boadicea and other projects in this genre. Although young, Freya has worked extensively within the industry especially throughout the Hip Hop /Commercial Sector:

  • with UK Hip Hop companies such as 'Zoonation Dance Company'

  • one of the main dance troupe for 'Boadicea' - performing at the Breakin Convention' gig at Sadlers Wells

  • backing dancer for 'Kiesza' on projects such as MTV Malta, Capital Summertime Ball, Wembley Arena (Coca Cola Festival and the ever-popular iTunes Festival

  • cast member of the Diversity UK Arena Tour 2014 - "Diversity Live".

Currently Freya is performing on Diversity's UK Tour - "Up, Close and Personal" representing Boadicea.

So, with all this performing experience in this sector of dance, the Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance is proud to be having Freya teaching for Reigate and Redhill's leading dance school.

The school's principal, Miss Evans, has always maintained that the school have an excellent reputation for teaching all dance forms, and in order to continue this repuation, the school needs to have excellent teachers, both all-round teaching staff and those who specialise in specific dance genres.

Our Street and Hip-Hop classes will be the most current in Reigate, Redhill and the surrounding area as a result, and we wish Freya all the best when she starts with us next term.

To book Street Dance / Hip Hop classes with Freya, please contact Miss Evans to reserve you place via our contact page.
