Synopsis

Thoroughly Modern Millie is a musical romp with many large scale numbers for dancers, and plenty of humorous and evil characters along the way. The main character is Millie Dillmount who arrives in New York searching for a new life. Her ultimate plan is to become a secretary for a wealthy man and hopefully marry him, but things don't quite work out. She shares a room with Dorothy whom she quickly becomes friends with, but the hotel is run by Miss Meers, a former actress-turned criminal. With fantastic flappers, dashing leading men and an evil Chinese underworld, set in the stylish 1920s New York, this musical is full of fun filled songs, dramatic situations and large-scale dance numbers that will entertain throughout.
